Writing a Magic Mirror² Module : NexusMetroRTI

In a previous post I documented steps I took to reverse engineer the Nexus Metro real-time information backend API, with a view to developing an at-a-glance widget so I can see live train times at my local Metro station.

Well - I'm pleased to say I've done exactly that! The Magic Mirror² project is a perfect host for such an application, providing an at-a-glance dashboard like interface built on top of Node.js with a documented framework for plug-and-play modules written in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

In this post, I will showcase the project and illustrate the development process I went through to produce it.
